Hello there. 19 male living in a shared flat. The electricity bill for June was $100. For the first 24 days of June there were 3 people living, but for the last six (from 25 to 30, both included) there were only two since one of the guys left. Now I am trying to figure out a logical or mathematical way to determine how much each person has to pay. I stayed for the entire month, so did another roommate. But the other roomate only stayed until 24 included. You can suppose that we use the same electricity per day, obviously.
Any tips on how to figure this out?
You guys are some jewish motherfuckers
>24 guy pays 28.57
>30 guy pays 35.71
>30 guy pays 35.71
fight to the death to see who pays the extra penny
dont thank me. thank math.

The last 5 days are negligible. Simply split the June bill 3 ways (Yes, you're cheating the guy who moved out, but pennies), and future bills 2 ways.

You tell the guy who moved out that the bill was $210. His share is 1/3 or $70 but since he moved out you'll cut it to $65.
That means you other two only have to pay $17.50 each.
So the bill for the first 24 days was $80 and $20 for the last 6 days.
$80 / 3 = $26.67
$20 / 2 = $10
The guy who left pays $26.67 and the rest of you pay $36.67.
