have you tried going to events/finding groups (even online) where you can meet people with simmilar interests and have fun? i find that being a genuine person without looking for a relationship and generally just going out and enjoying your life tends to be a better way of finding someone you could genuinely be interested in and vice versa. rushing into a relationship is NEVER a good idea and you should always become aquanted with a person beforehand (especially because some crazies are out there that look and act completely normal until they have you, and then you're in a rally bad situation)
