I am in desperate need of money, but having injured myself I can't rely much on temp agencies. An office job (data entry) replied to my resume but it's a 5 month contract work, and I'm planning on leaving in September. Should I take the job? And what are the pros and cons if I leave early?

depends. is there any downfall to the contract its self? if an actor is in breach of contract he loses money. if this was just a temp job it would be fine but contract work has the word 'contract' for a reason. if a guy does a contract for say, fixing someones plumbing then just stops half way through, hes probably in breach of contract.

data entry for a bank. I haven't seen the terms yet cause the interview is on Friday. I am confident that I'll get the job though.
They didn't say it was contracted in the job posting so I thought it was okay to apply, but they gave the news on their first phone call.

at the end of the day what we say doesn't matter. what the contract says does.

Damn. I don't want to haul my ass to their office only to awkwardly decline their offer due to the contract.

>i dont want to have to drive somewhere just to figure out how the job works
this is the laziest thing i have ever heard.
