I'd start by talking to them. Go to someplace innocuous and try talking to girls. Pick random girls, even ones you wouldn't consider as desirable, and just force yourself to talk to them. The most important thing is to remember they're just people, people that want what you want, or something similar to it, and are looking for it too, possibly as much as you are.
