Logic and Emotion

Yeah youre an autist because you think you are emotionless.
You never feel happiness, fear, jealousy, indifference, sadness, anxiety, anger, etc.
Stop lying to yourself you cunt you're wasting your own time for no reason.
If you really were emotionless you'd have no desire whatsoever to live let alone post some garbage on a website.

I think I'm an autist because that's what my Doctor and Therapist told me as a child. I was diagnosed at the age of 4, and re-diagonsed in High-School (I'm 18 btw).
I feel emotions, I defintely do. I'm just disconnected from them, so that they don't influence my actions. What I think and what I do isn't really influenced by how I feel, and so people see me as emotionless.

Tbh I have been in situations where somebody was crying over somebody who died and I asked "Why are you crying? That's not gonna help them is it? Would they be happy if they knew you were crying?".
These were honest questions, I was super curious, as I didn't really get why you'd cry in this scenario. It kinda made me seem like an insensitive and uncaring dick however.....

I was aware that somebody they knew died (It was a friend in grade above them) but I didn't really get why you'd cry in that situation.
I didn't get why the natural response to 'death' is 'crying'. It's not like that solved anything, it didn't undo the person's death, it wouldn't have made them happy to see their friend sad, it seemed to be an action that achieved nothing.
I truly wanted to understand why somebody cries in that scenario, so I asked. But that kinda makes me seem like an idiot and heartless......even tho' I did spend alot of time thinking it through

Is it okay to be this dense idiot who asks a question like "Why are you crying" to somebody whom you know lost a loved one, as well be unempathetic to how they feel simply because you can't really share that feeling in the same way?
