Keep your mind occupied and all that good shit. Also keep in mind the pain is temporary. The vast majority of the human race went through or will go through this at least once in its lifespan so hang in there.

It sucks man. Right now, you need to let your emotions take their course. Like the other anon said, almost every single person goes through this at least once. It'll be hard now, but as long as you focus on bettering yourself and learning from the experience, it'll get easier and hey, maybe one day you'll be happy things worked out the way they did.
