you'd need to lose about one pound a day. one pound is exactly 3,500 calories. we naturally burn about 2000 calories a day if you get some minor exercise in. that leaves 1500 calories a day if you just don't eat.

so assuming you eat at least 1000 calories a day as to not fucking die, that'd be 2500 calories you need to lose.

you lose about 100 calories for every ten minutes of jumping jacks you do.

SO, in order to lose 20 pounds in 3 weeks you'd need to
>eat only 1000 calories a day
>do 4.1 hours of jumping jacks a day on top of that

its essentially impossible. you are not supposed to lose a pound of weight a day unless you are an extremely obese person, in which case your body could canibalize its fat with you still getting like 1500 calories a day.

aim for 1 pound a week instead of 1 pound a day. MAYBE 2 a week if you exercise while eating only 1500 calories.

why is it so important to lose the weight in 3 weeks?>

If you lose a lor of weight very fast you'll have loose skin and won't look good. You'll also feel like utter shit all the time. You can calculate with several online calculators how much calories a day you need to maintain your bodyweight. Substract 500 from this amount and you have the amount you need to lose weight and not feel terrible all the time. Track your calorie intake with the myfitnespal app. Add cardio three times a week and you're golden.
