Hi /adv/, I have a job interview in a few hours and need some advice.
You see, I have been looking for a job for a while now, it's not a life threatening thing but I want money for my studies.
I have been in some interviews the past months but I think I always fuck things up.
This one is for a small restaurant that's near home, it's more oriented to families rather than college outings or lonely middle-aged men.
I would like to work there, mostly for the money and being near home. So I need advice to win them in the interview and have them employ me.

small family businesses, especialy restaraunts, are looking for stability.
you should be too.
point out that you have that in common and sell yourself as a stable employee. foodservice has ridiculous high turnover rates.
Demonstrate why they would want to hire someone like you.
I think the key is demonstrating reliability
