Should I get insurance so I can drive my mum's car?

This is a boring question but I don't know many drivers so I thought I'd ask here.
I live in London with my parents, just passed my driving test and also just graduated. Will start a job next month in the City so I'll take the tube in, can't drive in to the inner city in London.

I've got a month of insurance on my mum's car for keeping up my abilities/ practising on my own now I can do that.

But I'm trying to figure out whether to pay for insurance for the next year? It'll be £80 a month.
I don't think I'll really do a lot of driving bc London but I want to build up my no claims discount so insurance will be cheaper in a few years.
It might be helpful bc my dad doesn't know how to drive or any of my siblings, and none of my friends have licenses yet.

Any advice?
