My first job is a summer job at a local Sonic in Texas, and while it's only been a few weeks, I am about ready to throw in the towel. The place is overstaffed, but they keep hiring people for whatever reason, and then sends those new workers (even me) home early because of "labor Percentage" or something like that. My idiot managers repeatedly give me incorrect schedules( which has resulted in me missing my grandfathers' birthday party), and refuse to text it to me, so every Sunday I have to drive up there on my bike (no license yet), and wait for one of them to show me what *might* be the schedule for the week. No one else in biking distance is hiring, and of course I get minimum wage. My coworkers and bosses yell at me for the dumbest things, like getting ice from the wrong stall, or making an order that the last person forgot to clock off, but somehow it's still *my* fault.
The final nail was today. I began feeling a bit ill, but seeing as I have anxiety problems, just brushed it off. But they kept coming back. Eventually I got to the restroom to take a very...
Unhealthy...
..Dump. I le my managers know that I should go home right away.
Nope! they made me work an extra hour making and serving food to a few DOZEN people, while I was still feeling sick. An hour after the bathroom incident, they FINALLY let me go home. I am writing this from the bathroom, still very sick. Should I Quit this toxic job, or demand some sort of compensation?
What do?
>demanding compensation as a minimum wage nobody
Haha, looks like the goyim are getting a bit uppity!

Yeah, I was still feeling like crap, and very angry when I wrote that bit. Whups.
Fast food really is awful work with clueless managers that make everything worse. I'm not going to tell you not to quit, but what will you do then? Let's pro-con this a bit. How will you support yourself without a job? If you're living at home will your parents really be on your back about this? Maybe you can explain your feelings to them and try to figure out something else.>>18483305
You are easily replaced, kids who want a summer job are a diamond dozen. If you quit, the only one that loses out is you.
>>18483029
you shouldn't have worked while you were sick. they didn't hold a gun to your head
>>18483331
I've never seen anyone use diamond dozen unironically
>>18483331
It sure is a Doggy Dog world out there
>>18483340
So I should have stood my ground and gotten fired?
>>18483029
go apply at home depot, they always hire teens
>>18483327
Well, I mean I'm 16, so it's not THAT big a deal if I do quit. I'm just tryna save up for a Switch.

i'd say so yeah. I mean basically now you're just quitting anyway because they "forced" you to work. you should have just refused
