I am an Australian graduating soon with a bachelor of science in biochemistry. I have a couple options moving forwards, there is a research group I have done work with that wants me to do a post-grad with them which would come with paid casual work but I have come to the realisation that currently I am only keen on getting as much money as possible as quickly as possible.

What job or career could someone from my position go into if they wanted to earn as much money as possible in 5 years (I will be 30 by then)?
How would I find this out, who would I talk to?
The people I am surrounded by are the kinds of people who do things for passion and telling them I just want a lot of money would be like telling them I want to sell kitten meat to school children.
