I've been dealing with foggy brain, memory issues, mood seings and intestinal problems my whole life but just found out that that isn't "normal" or some shit

>be me about 3 hours ago
>go to subway and order tuna sandwich on 9-grain honey oat with spinach, tomato, pickles, mayo and mustard
>fast forward to now
>feel really sweaty but it isn't even hot
>can't think straight
>tired as fuck even though I slept 9 hours last night
>intestines feel a bit uncomfortable, bloated, slight heart burn every now and again
>eyes feel that sour tired feeling

Is this a gluten thing? Wheat allergy? eggs? Maybe I just ate too much?

also inb4 go to a doctor

been trying for a week but they don't give a shit so I'm gonna visit my parents soon and check with the doctors
>>

Maybe you could simply eat less processed food. Learn how to cook meals with veggies, lean protein and have your fridge/pantry stocked with healthy snack options too like Greek yogurt for example. Non celiac gluten intolerance is a meme.
>>
>>18479743
I do eat healthy that's the thing though. I take great care of my body, gym 4 times a week, plenty of fruits and vegetables, pastas, all sorts of junk. But sometimes I just get this foggy brain, can't think clearly at all, make stupid mistakes, intestines feel weird kinda mood that hinders my ability to function as a college student
>>
I get those kind of symptoms from nightshades (tomato, chill, eggplant, capsicum). Mostly from tomato. You could try eating 1-2 tomatos by themselves and see what happens. Do your eyes get kind reddish and inflamed looking?
>>
>>18479790
Yeah they do. Interesting, are there any other common foods off the top of your head that would cause those symptoms that would be more commonly eaten other than tomato?

>I take great care of my body

There are a million different food "issues" you could potentially have but unfortunately in cases like yours gluten takes the blame. I say unfortunately because it's probably else but as long as you assume it's gluten you'll never get down to it.

The only way to get better (and you want to get better, right? You made a post on an anonymous Bangladeshi poopsmearing forum so I know you want to get better), start an elimination diet where you write down every food you eat and how you feel afterwards. After 4 to 5 days of diligently maintaining the food log, you should be able to start noticing patterns. This process is made easier by eating fewer things but more of them- if you have access to your school cafe, eschew dessert for a second helping of your meal, for example. Or even better, cook for yourself for a week (chicken + rice, ground beef + tomato sauce + pasta, simple things. They'll taste great if you add enough salt.)

This a thousand times.

the humble potato is a nightshade, for example. or you can have adult onset sensitivities to milk or egg proteins.

>>18479803
>food diary
>non-celiac intolerance meme

both noted. Thanks m8

>>18479807
Also noted. Will trial a diary for a week

Could be plain ol' fashioned food poisoning.
Or you've got a flu.

Does it come naturally to you or do you have to practice giving shitty advice?

If you had read past the 13th word of my OP you would have seen a phrase "..my whole life.."

Now, I'm not sure if down-syndrome affects perception of time or not, but whole life means the entire time I was spit out from the gaping hole of my mother until this very moment. If you still can't understand that, I'm gonna go ahead and diagnose you with double mental handicapped syndrome. Cause clearly you're more than autistic. You're a new fucking color on the spectrum my friend

>go make friends with a guy named George who likes guns
>go on a nature walk with George
>stare at the flowers
>??bang??
>profit

I'm this guy, I just read your post again (forgot to mentioned white potatoes which another anon added). I think my nightshade intolerance comes from my hypothyroidism, the symptoms you're describing are classic low thyroid.

Do you get cold hands and feet (sometimes when the rest of the body is warm)?
Are you overweight and struggling to get it off, or alternatively, skinny and have never been able to gain much weight?
Do you feel less energized or even colder after breakfast?

I struggled with this kind of shit for a decade, still do but not as badly, I actually had blood tests for thyroid problems early on in life but unfortunately the medical system is shit at diagnosing it, the normal range includes a ton of people who are actually quite sick. You can get a cheap thermometer from a pharmacy and test your temp in the morning literally as soon as you wake up. This is the most reliable way to see if you're having thyroid issues.

A good waking oral temp is around 36.6c (97.88f) that rises to 37c (98.6f) by midday. Personally my waking temp has improved from 35.8c to about 36.2c in the last few years but I've still got a ways to go. A lot of the time if you're low thyroid your temp will actually be lower after breakfast so test that too.

I have to head out now but if you're interested, the way I've been healing my metabolism is the writings of the biologist Dr. Ray Peat, you can check out his page at raypeat.com, it's pretty technical. I'd strongly recommend you drop a few bucks for a thermometer since it's foolproof and cheap way of seeing if you have an issue here before seeing a doctor. raypeatforum.com is where a bunch of people using his methods talk. Also, might be worth looking at eastwesthealing.com, functionalps.com, katedeering.com

fucking hit the nail on the head mate. I was wondering about the cold hands and feet because I have always been warm blooded (I.e. I prefer cold to warm weather) but in the past year it's been cold hands and feet.

On the weight thing, it"s pretty hard for me to gain weight. My body fat has always been low, never have I been at or above BMI.

Thyroid problems run in both sides of my family so that's what i initially thought but like you said, they did blood tests and called it negative.

Thanks a fuck ton mate, I feel like I have a direction to go in now. Going into my senior year of college as a compsci major so you seriously saved my ass. I was barely passin classes last quarter

Glad to help m8, i feel like there's a fuckload of people who just feel tired all the time but don't have strong enough symptoms to get any help from doctors, let alone all the people who just spend years confused because doctors are actually pretty useless if you don't fit in a very specific box of treatment. Personally I went through like 20 different doctors/specialists/naturopaths/herbalists and all these useless tests and bullshit treatments until I found out about it myself.

My throwaway email is [email protected] Feel free to shoot me a message if you ever have any questions about it.

Shits always bugged me, half of my family has celiac and no one takes their shit seriously because they just assume they're doing the allergy fad.
