So I bought my 2ds from GameStop a while back, I also payed for the 1 year warranty (which is still active) do I need a receipt in order to have it replaced at the store?

Warranties almost never cover shit like this where you're the one who caused the damage.

Also yes, they're almost definitely going to want proof that you purchased it from them. That was probably part of the terms and conditions you agreed to when you bought it.
