A previous workplace i quit due to them breaching multiple health and safety regulations, such as unlicensed users operating forklifts and other machinery, and using an industrial printer that uses IPA, in an un-ventilated area leading to me and other staff having constant headaches. As well as a bunch of other shady shit like paying temp workers off the books.

Normally i wouldn't care, id quit the job and move on but jobs are hard to come by, so after quiting i decided to go on a "job seekers" benefit, which gives you money while you search for another job, but im on a 6 month stand down as a quit.

I really need the money, but if i report the business i doubt anything will be done + i have family that relys on the income from that business so i don't want to fuck them over, as the fines they would face would almost certainly shut it down.

Do i suck it up? Report them and fuck over my family or try and blackmail them? or any other options ?

It's causing me a lot of stress, emotional and financial.
