There's a music school in my city with beginner-level lessons for basically all popular instruments, I've been obsessed these last few weeks with trying some of them (mostly cello, violin, piano), would that be weird/rude to take lessons just to try an instrument?

Of course not, just be honest: "I am not sure and I would like to have an intro lesson"
BUT be aware, first times with ANY instrument are veeery boring, the fun comes once you got the basics... and if you get the basics wrong, you are screwed.

Thanks anon, of course I'm aware of the first weeks (even months) being a lot of frustration as cello and violin are very hard instruments just to get an acceptable sound, I'd just like to know how it feels to hold such instruments (if it makes any sense).
