Okay, simple question.
I'm looking for what is, in your opinion, the best book on how to learn c++ from scratch up to a decent level where you're basically able to further study on your own.
I have some prior rudimentary experience with the language, but I'm taking a gap year from university to devote myself to learning as much shit as I can, so time and money aren't an issue.
I'm not looking for the easiest, but the most complete.
Thanks for the help anons.

Stephen Prata's "C++" is what you're looking for. Some of the points in his book may be outdated, but still, it's easy to read and pretty understandable. Then go for "Effective C++" by Meyers.
