Getting a like-minded gf as an introvert

Is it possible? Not even looking for a hardcore turbo autism neet quirky weeb gamer girl gf. Just a normal, traditional, quiet, homely girl with boring girly interests. Bonus points if she's catholic. It feels like nowadays it's incredibly hard to find girls like that, and the ones that are like that either: a) aspire to be like the other outgoing extroverted girls; b) have some kind of special snowflake "i'm not like the other girls" tumblr mentality; c) are not very good looking (and keep in mind my standards are not high at all, a 5/10 would be more than enough if her personality is good enough). Maybe I'm being too picky but I know girls like that exist. I fell in love with two classmates that had all the right traits but sadly neither of them liked me romantically.

Realistically speaking, what could I do to improve my chances of getting an introvert gf? In what ways should I improve myself? Appearance wise, I'm kind of /fit/, 6'1 and a few days ago a girl described me as "very handsome" a few hours after meeting her so I'm going to assume the problem lies elsewhere. I think my biggest problem is not being good enough at conversations, which probably makes me seem very boring compared to other guys. I've been told I have a good sense of humor but I need to be completely at ease for it to shine through, and when I feel attracted to a girl I'm way too inhibited and nervous for that to happen.

Finally, where should I go to find such girls? And how should I go about approaching them there? I really have no clue since most people meet girls when going out or at parties, which is something I don't really enjoy doing very often, not to mention that I never get seriously interested in girls I meet at parties and stuff.
