Spent most of my grad trying to hide from a crush I've been on one date with. Said date was a stiff movie date in which we shared maybe 30 words before and after, and follows my autistic (yet somehow successful) attempt at asking for her number
Finally got the nerve to talk to her at dry-grad at 02:30, and she and one of her friends were passed out on a couch.
I stayed on the far side of the room pre-ceremony, snuck out the back door before dances started, and she and her family were literally 5 feet away from mine during family photos.
She's shy, and spent most of dry-grad sitting with a couple of friends (including one who was talking to a mutual friend about hooking us up) off in the corner of the room.
Missed every easy opportunity to start conversation (compliment her dress, ask if she was enjoying the night, etc.
Haven't been able to think of anything I could text her after that that doesn't look flakey.
Any ideas?

The easiest approach is to apologize, say you are super idiot and tell her the truth.
But since you love to self sabotage yourself, i bet you will keep avoiding her, making up lies and 10 years later post on /adv again about why are you still single and lonely.
