I think my main problem is the following: What exactly do I eat if not my usual junk food/ burgers/ general amerifat nonesense.

I have a lot of problems with eating foods is really where most of the issue lies, mainly because of allergies and other fucked up shit. Like I outlined last thread (as silly as it sounds) I cannot eat any solid fruits or veggies. I can drink them in any liquid form, however. Salads are out, Seafood in all its forms are 100% out, even anything liquid. I'd replace all my junk shit but eating protein bars and cereal and stuff like that all day just makes me starve and eventually I just kick back to "Tasty" food (for me anyway)

Goal is anything that makes me not fat, like, not have a huge gut sticking out. No real numerical goal, and don't care to be super skinny either, just want the gut to leave.

Also I take medication for my thyroid because it's actually messed up (take prescribed zynthrax) and from what I hear this means my metabolism is slower than what a normal fatty would already be (making things even worse) though I disregard this as an excuse since I can still lose the gut even with this I'm sure

White chicken breast with rice. Technically you could eat whatever you want and still lose weight, so long as your actually count your calories. But I think eating healthy, fulfilling foods would be much better in the long-term. Your allergies does make it rather difficult to have a diverse diet, but it's no excuse to be over 200 lbs.

Don't eat protein bars or cereal. Those are packed with sugar and calories.

Aim for 1800 calories a day, get a food scale, and go on /r/MealPrepSunday for food recipes and ideas.

I think another problem with diets is I just go extremely hungry all day. I want food that will actually get me full so I'm not running for the fridge every 2 hours out of hunger or something, but my limits do make it harder.

Don't think of it as a diet, think of it as a lifestyle change. The only reason why you'd feel hungry with 1800 calories a day, is because you're simply not used to it. Oh yeah, and cut the soft drinks and alcohol, and only drink water.

If you're still hungry, you might want to look into intermittent fasting. Basically, the idea is to fast for the entire day, then give yourself only a few hours to finish all your meals in one sitting. The psychological effects can help a lot. For example, 16/8 means you fast for 16 hours, then give yourself 8 hours of the day to consume those 1800 calories. Whenever I do intermittent fasting, I feel much more full due to the psychological effects of eating lots of food in one sitting, even though realistically I've eaten below my maintenance.

Have you tried to remember and analyze your state of mind of when you're drunk? Try to notice your thought process, the tone of your voice, the topics you bring up in conversations and try to replicate them while sober. But you might actually be failing even when you're drunk and you don't notice because well, you're drunk. And that would be useless. In any case, I noticed that the biggest wall when you want to socialize is to bring up new topics and actively drive the conversation, so try working on that too

I can leave that as an option, but ideally not something I'd want to attempt just yet, but it's an option. Any tips where I can just get ideas for die...I mean..lifestyle change foods? I think too many places I try to look up just focus on salad salad salad and that doesn't fly for me.

Basically I need more options so I can put away shit like burgers and burritos and eat these other options instead. I can't just eat white chicken + rice day in and out, need to have more to pick from
