>walking into office with 2 females
>old man walking out holds door open for us
>one girl goes in first, I go in second, other girl goes in third
>old man shouts "havent you heard of ladies first? What did you just get off the boat?" to me.
Are you actually supposed to let every girl in the door before you?
It's common courtesy if they're right there at the door or coming out.
If they were in close proximity to each other or paired up then yea wait for em.
But if like one girl was behind you and the other in front of you then you did nothing wrong and the guy is full of shit. A simple and short 'thanks' when another dude holds a door open for you is enough.

How is it courteous to let someone through a door first if someome else is already doing the work of holding it?
Go in whatever order makes sense physically, I guess this depends mostly on who is closer. Fuck sexist door chivalry
You should have reminded him he's oppressing those strong womyn by reminding them that men don't believe that they have enough strength to even hold open a door
No the guys just old fashioned and that, sexist door chivalry doesnt exist like that nowadays, just be polite and treat all people the same
