I can't get close to people. I can't handle people being nice to me. When someone is truly nice to me it's too intense I feel like I'm being lit on fire. I have a lot of tier 2 friends, people do like me, but I haven't had a close friend since I was 12. I'm not even that close to my brother. I've never had a boyfriend. I'm pretty good at being on my own at this point, but I still do wish I could love like other people do.

Any idea what is wrong with me? Any idea how I can fix it?

Face your fears OP.

But when I mean face your fears I mean overcome them, and not be a fool.

For example: fear of heights: "I'M GONNA JUMP OFF A BRIDGE TO OVERCOME MY FEAR OF HEIGHTS!" instead of rather simply: riding a tall roller coaster.
