Hey /adv/, I've been in a few arguments with my significant other where ill ask why she doesn't want me doing something or behaving in a certain way and she'll just respond with "because I don't want you to." There's obviously more to that, like a reason why she doesn't want me to do something or behave in a certain way, but she refuses to explain any further than "because I don't want you to"
How do I answer to this?
(FYI: she didn't want me to screenshot selfies she had been sending me via snapchat, it was sfw stuff but she had previously said she didn't mind it and now she changes her mind.)

About photos of her, makes sense. She doesn't have to explain to you why she doesn't want you to save the pics.
Maybe she doesn't want you to post/share/whatever. She may have a lot of reasons for that but, that shouldn't matter to you.
If she does that with anything else though, that's pretty controlling. But it's about her personal shit so. Thas fair in my book.

this. OP if it's over petty shit then obviously that's a red flag but if she doesn't want you saving photos of her that she doesn't make public then she might have very good reasons that she doesn't need to disclose to you. Either way it's a judgment call you need to make. Think to yourself, is there a reason why someone (not necessarily your gf) might not want me doing this? If there's a good reason then don't do it.
