if they're willing to be. no one ever really reaches the total encompassing happiness we imagine at the end of a movie, but thats okay. truth is if you're single in 20 years you'll be bummed out that you're not in a relationship and if you're not single in 20 years you'll be wishing how you could get a divorce.

life is a cohesive experience so while you may not be perfectly happy you can compensate for being single by having a rich life in every other area.

that being said no one should ever commit to one life style over another. be open to dating if the right people come. be open to being single if they don't.

Absolutely. Many people in this world are single and live alone. Life is what you make of it. If you are an active person with interests, friends and are not afraid to try new things and experiences, you can live a happy and wonderful life. There's a lot to be said for having close friends but not sharing the same house. The traditional wife, 2.5 kids, a house etc isn't for everyone.
