I'm an incoming freshman who just signed a bid for a fraternity.
I've been asking and looking for sources on the internet to find out what really happens during the pledging/hazing process, but so far I haven't gotten clear answer. I found a thread on misc in which posters where discussing some of the psychological things they went under, but they were still hesitant to describe details because of the "secrecy" of it all. I get the same response when asking in person.
So my question for you, current/former greek members of /adv/, to anonymously describe exactly what I can expect in the following year.
If it matters, it's a top-tier house at a polytechnic university.

How about you don't bother with gay ass fraternities?
Why even go to the fraternity, what is the point?
Only Americans have such stupid organizations

Why is it stupid?

Impossible to know what your specific group does. There are over a hundred thousand fraternities.
