I've drunken pepsi max for the majority of my life and just to see if I was I let myself run out of it and had squash instead, it has been over 24 hours now and still don't think I need it, there is no physical urge to get it.
Aren't I suppose to be going through some kind of withdrawal if I am addicted to this?

no, there are many different kinds of addictions. You'd be going through withdrawl if it was a dependency but you'll most likely just think "man, I sure wish I had some pepsi max!" in a few days.
24 hours is a very short time. It means nothing. Why do you hastily jump on the conclusion that if you stop something for a mere 24 hours then it means you're not addicted? Anybody would have waited much longer before drawing any conclusion. Are you gonna be ok?
I'm addicted to cigarettes and when I don't smoke for 24 hours I really want to smoke. I want to smoke so fucking much that for three years now I smoke at least a cig a day.

That shit's only a few years old.
Also, Pepsi One was waaay better. It came out like 10 years before Coke Zero.

Hmm most likely, I just thought because of the caffeine I'd be more dependant on it.

I guess I don't understand addiction well, I thought if you were craving it after 24 hours then that means you are addicted. I'll see in a few days if I try to get some at the supermarket or not.

Sorry I forgot I was drinking coke when I was younger but around mid teens I switched to pepsi max.
