I really like this girl, and at one point she really liked me. But now it seems like she's distancing herself. She said nothing was wrong, but things haven't gone back to normal. It's only been about a month since things have started changing, and she actually seems to be coming back around, but then pulls away again.

My question is, since i really value her friendship as well, should I ask her directly if she is still into me? Or should I just act as distant as she is? I don't want to lose my dignity/scare her away with clinginess, but i also don't want to lose her.

I've been with a girl who (in my particular case) didn't find it convenient to fall in love with me. She also pulled away from other guys in the past, and yet still picked up new partners she would get feelings for.

Maybe you are too sensitive, maybe she is playing the push-and-pull game, or maybe both. The only thing I know for sure is that it's for you to interpret and solve, not advisors.
