So I have a HP DC7900 (as seen in image)
I need a disk drive with over 200GB
That'll actually fit inside this things case

The SFF, USDT, or CMT form factor model of the DC7900? Assuming the device is identical to the image it would be the SFF model. In that case most 3.5'' sata drives should work fine.
If this machine is at a business, you have a supplier at HP, and you need to replace it with official HP parts for some inane reason you can reference the following part numbers:
504337-001 for 250GB
504338-001 for 320GB
504339-001 for 500GB.

If you want to be safe though and make sure the drive will fit no matter what run out and buy a standard laptop sized (2.5'') sata drive.
Generally speaking as the previous anon suggested, any old 3.5" SATA drive will do.

I looked up the model number on this HP and apparently it has Serial ATA-300 connectors. I think you can buy any HDD or SSD that has a SATA 2 or 3 interface. The other two things you want to make sure is that you physically have space to place the 3.5 (or 2.5) inch drive into the case and that you have the appropriate cables to hook it to the mother board (SATA) and to provide power it power.

just open it up and buy one that's the same size dude, you're going to have to open it up to put the new drive in anyway. why did you even make this thread?
