So I am planning to move into the historical part of my city. But I am not able to combine the beautiful old facade with modern furniture inside. It is just a contradiction. How would you guys live in there?

I'd use full IKEA's furnitures inside.

Ha, I'm joking, but going full retro with vintage and antique decors would be too much to maintain and shit.
I think I'd get by with modern furniture but with touch of classicque here and there to spice things up.
