Guys I'm a med student with social anxiety. I'm about to finish my second year. They say we are gonna have to perform some stuff on patients next year on a daily basis like taking blood or checking blood pressure, The problem is I get super excited when someone watches me doing something like this. My heart starts beating like crazy, hands shaking, sweating like an animal. I don't think I'm fit to become a doctor. Don't think I realized this only now. I never wanted to choose this path, my parents forced me. And now I'm thinking of dropping out. Do you think it's too late? Or should I wait to see how I will do next year and then decide?

I'd just wait and see how it goes. Usually the best way to fix things like that anxiety is through exposure.

can you give me some tips on taking the MCAT?
I'm junior year undergrad.
Also, it's way too early to tell if you'd be a good doctor or not.
Don't just quit medical school because you don't like it.
If you are going to quit, you should quit because you've found your true calling.
And be 100% sure it's your true calling before you quit!

I'm not from the US unfortunately. I don't know anything about MCAT.
Thanks for your support though.

Lol medfag in 6th year here with extreme social anxiety (therapy and medication. Currently no medication)
Let me tell you it gets better. The frist time i worked in the hospital i was even afraid to enter a patients room. Now i'm doing all the examinations, taking blood, also did some surgery. What i still can't do is use the phone in front of people or speak in front of people during morning meetups. But i will have to learn that aswell since i'm finishing soon.
My point is, it's gets better with exposure.
Fight on brother, it's a really rewarding profession. Mentally and financially.
