I can see why you have this perspective, it seems like a lame thing to complain about. But when you're a child (even grown) in that situation it can be quite brutal. The constant, almost daily name calling becomes a real grind, especially when you can't reason or argue with the person spewing the BS and are forced to somehow take it. When its your parents it can be really easy to accept after a while, sooner or later what they say becomes ingrained into your sense of self or esteem, unless you have a strong enough reason to believe otherwise. If its a real habit of theirs they can say it so often it completely drowns out any compliments they give; for every 100 things they tell their child 99 are put downs or nonconstructive criticisms.

When they are old and need my help id help them. And now when they need my help i do it to. But sometimes it just seems like the things im doing aren't really what they need more like they really want to teach me about that i should work hard etc. Im not living at the kindnof "country" and everyone has to work so we all can earn koney and live.
