How do I make new friends this Summer? I want to expand my social circle.
I'm Facebook friends with some people that are friendly and like me, but I have not gotten close with. I'm planning on messaging one at a time to have a one on one hang out to try to befriend them. Probably will walk and talk around the neighborhood, maybe chill at one of our houses.
Any advice for making this work of maximizing effectiveness so that we become really good friends and so that it goes through smoothly? I'm working on my social skills and need a little help.

I don't know your situation but I'd be pretty surprised/creeped out (depending on your sex and attractiveness) if someone I "kinda know and like" would ask me for a one on one for the sole purpose to be friends.
In my opinion, you'd be better off just throwing a barbecue party or something and talking one on one with them there, so at least they'll have an escape route.

muslim friends are the best for starters. theyre very friendly and sociable. i have one indian and two egyptians friends that i talk to.
