The guy in the thread said "ask for Jesus' help and he will help you". My mom belives. She asked for Jesus' help. He never helped her. Jesus obviously cherry picks the people he wants to help, so basically it doesnt matter whether or not you believe.

do you have a productive and/or skill developing hobby? if not, find one. a common misconception i see on here is that "watching anime" and "playing vidya" are hobbies, they're not, they're distractions. unless you get very, very good at a cirtain video game and begin to pursue it on a national/international level. Sports as hobbies are much the same but they at least develop your physical co-ordination and inter-personal skills. your brain has a need to create, find a creative outlet, it will help your mental state tremendously.

I had some acne scarring on my face that has positively improved without question. This let's me know the theory of the water fast repairing scar tissue is true. Some of the marks have gone away completely, others diminished or are hardly noticeable. If I had continued past 14 days I think I would have seen further improvements as your body really starts to dig into scar tissue when you get past day 21, but my body weight wouldn't allow me.

My penis used to have a tight feeling to it, there was strong tension on it like it was being pulled inward. This has gone away. It's now larger when flaccid.

I have always had erections in the morning and those continue, but now I get random erections throughout the day. This hasn't happened in... I can't remember how long. I thought it went away because I had matured, but it's back and it's a good thing.

My sleep has become MUCH deeper. I started off having horrible sleeping issues which were resolved by taking Ambien + Melatonin for three to four nights and those improvements kept with me. I really can't make claims to this because I only like to claim things that I'm positive have improved. Other people have reported complete repair of their eyesight after 40 days of water fasting, although they may of had some other issues causing it.

I lost 20 pounds while retaining my muscle. I wasn't fat which makes it more difficult for me to lose weight yet it still came off as it was my bodies primary source of fuel. I was worried I would lose some of the muscle mass I've gained but I didn't, or at least it was such a small amount I can't notice.

I'm not sure I even have a libido problem, but I have not noticed an increase in my libido since the water fast. Before and now after the water fast I have the urge to have sex around every three days which I believe is normal for someone my age (32) and in a relationship for 2 years. I am still going to keep an open mind for ideas on improving my libido as I would like to have the urge every day, but once again I'm not sure I even have a problem (and there's always viagra). This doesn't mean a water fast can't cure libido, it means I wasn't really a good test subject.

how many places have you applied to work at? Have you asked your parents to keep an eye out for opportunities for you? When I was 16 I had lots of jobs, because there was lots of teen work around. I was a store clerk at a pharmacy, and a bus boy at a restaurant, and a farm laborer in a hay crew, and then I ran a farmer's market for my dad a few times when he had other obligations.

If you want to do the JBP thing, you need to shoulder as much responsibility as you can manage. If you don't have a job to make yourself useful, you should make your job for the next couple of weeks finding something to do. Failing in finding paid work, you should volunteer your time, and be grateful for the opportunity to do something with your bored summer days. Take the opportunity to practice socializing with the other people at the place you volunteer at, because connections you make with people can get you paid opportunities at places. If I was volunteering somewhere and I saw a hardworking teen looking for paid work, I have at least two places off the top of my head that I would recommend him for.

I spent three years depressed, and you might not realize it, but you develop a kind of sick comfort with the situation. It's he'll, but at least nothing is changing, it's a very safe, predictable life. I cringe remembering how many times I declined social invitations using my depression as an excuse.

What I eventually realized was that regardless of how shitty life is, and regardless of how I ended up where I was, the past didn't really matter, the future did. And the only one that could change that was me.

Get your sleep pattern under control, I recommend sleeping 22 to 06 every night. Eat healthy, eat at relatively regular times every day. Do at least some physical exercise every day.

I know all of that sounds tough as shit and you probably feel like I don't "get it". Trust me, when I was in your shoes, I thought no one who tried to help me "got it".
