I'm thinking of joining the United Methodist Church, because a lot of Zen Buddhism and basically all of Yoga seems to have be commodified (which is pretty far from the insights and teachings). Do any of you guys have experiences and tips with this sort of thing?
I ended in a North Korean concentration camp by following their advice.

This is the one that blame the jew and fags for the world decline, right?
Pretty ballsy if you ask me.

"Methodist viewpoints concerning homosexuality are diverse because there is no one denomination which represents all Methodists. The World Methodist Council, which represents most Methodist denominations, has no official statements regarding sexuality."

When it comes to inter-religion relations, everyone has their own special opinion. I'm an agnostic, so I don't give a squirt of piss about the holy land or anything like that.

It's more complicated than that. I remember they lost a lot of members when they said the jew and fags thing, so their leadership is now doing damage control.

I see. Thanks for the warning. I am aware that Abrahamic religions, and maybe all religions, are total quack. I was figuring that maybe Methodists wouldn't appreciate homosexuality or other religions as a valid life choice. I'm just looking for a place where people prefer morality over hedonism and narcissism. It seems like Methodists who believe that gays and the holy land are of special importance are just behind the times, like you said, and need to be damage controlled.
I would be willing to be a chameleon who didn't officially associate himself with the church. That's why I hung the fedora on the Methodist Cross there.

It appears that Presbyterians are out on the issue just like Methodists, and that Catholics still consider it a sin. You know, officially speaking.
