I have something I need to mix with water. The ratio is 2 teaspoons per gallon, but I am mixing it it a 16 fl oz container, how much of the something should I use? show your math please I don't want to stay this retarded, normally I'm good at math but I'm drunk right now and this is time sensitive
1 tablespoon
∑(2tp * 1 gallon)3 = 1 tablespoon

Europoor here, so I don't know if I converted it right, but you get the idea. Just cross multiplicate. Left you write the units you have, right those which you want to calculate. Then you divide by the left number so that it's at "1" and the same on the right, then you multipli both by your second given unit which should result in the correct amount for a smaller mix. In this case it's 1/4 of your teaspoon.
But I'm also drunk so I might be wrong.

8 of those containers would make a gallon because there's 128 fl oz in 1 gallon.
if you divide 2 teaspoons into 8 containers that's a quarter of a teaspoon per container. so 1 quarter teaspoon for your 16 fl oz container.

(2 / 128) x 16 = 0,25

(128/16 = 8) 2/8 = .25
Or that what I think is correct
2/128 = x/16
(12*16)/128 = x
x = 0.25

holy shit... assuming what you're mixing isn't ultra fucking important 16 fl oz us is quite a bit less than a gallon, 2 teaspoons is really small especially compared to a gallon, just put in less than a quarter of a teaspoon and you should be fine... so essentially a drop or two.

>(12*16)
oh shit I meant 2*16
