Come to think of it, no fucking joke, I'm not trying to scare you or anything, but my best friend lost her father getting a rotten wisdom tooth pulled out.

They pulled it out, it dumped a bunch of toxins in to his bloodstream, and she lost her father at the age of 8.

And this was at a hospital. Granted, they were vacationing in Mexico, and weren't allowed back in to the states because of his fever, but still... a hospital in Mexico is safer than you doing this shit on your own.

Usually in most countries there are charities that look after destitute people's health. If you tell us where you live we could probably find a paupers dentist for you

I work as a dental assistant and you really need to get this thing out. You can die from this kind of infection, I've seen it before.

There is no way to safely extract it yourself, a dentist uses special tools to get these things out and it is VERY painful without anesthetic. The dentist also gives you anti-biotics to take afterwards so the infection does not spread to your heart. They also irrigate the area afterwards to clean out the infection and you usually have to get stitches afterwards.

Take out a small loan if you cant get covered. My extraction was only 250 without insurance.

Contact your nearest university with a dental school. Senior students will do dental work with a professor observing, either for free or for token payment.

600-700 bucks for your flight back and forth. Couple hundred bucks for your tooth extraction I guess. Some hotel and drugs (a pack of morphine painkillers without reimbursement is 50 or so I think). It's cheaper.

Or come to Mexico, it'll cost you (at most) $3000 pesos (150 dollars, including the pulling, painkillers, the antibiotics and the X ray), the fly ticket would be cheap (I guess) and you can stay in a 3 star hotel pretty decent for $300 pesos (15 dollars). Go to doctor Edgardo Guevara in Mexico City, that guy is AWESOME (though he's colombian).

I think the rates I've just told you are way cheaper of what you can get in the US. There, problem solved with vacation included.

yeah do not go to mexico for dental work thats how you get botched. I'm saying this as a dental professional. All dental procedures are less expensive outside the USA but that is because you are not protected if they fuck you up. If a dentist in the USA messes up you can sue them for hundreds of thousands of dollars, so doctors in the USA make sure to be proficient so they do not lose their right to practice or do not get sued.

I suggest going to a dental office that takes medi-cal but telling them that you will pay cash. These offices will take your money because they are sick of medi-cal patients not giving them a revenue.
You do not need to see a specialist to get a wisdom tooth extracted if it is not under the surface of the gum. Don't let you swindle you! shop around.

My wisdom tooth was severely rotted too. Don't fuck around. Go get it extracted right now. Are you implying that you'll pull it yourself somehow? Don't fucking do that, as it's soft and it could break under your gums. If you get it done by a professional, if it breaks then they know what they're doing.

Do NOT fuck around with this. Go get it taken out. Hell, even take out a small loan if you have to.
