First and foremost she's a person. Get to know her for who she is before you start attempting to figure out if she's a good match for you.

depends on her background. if her parents are well adapted, chances are there isnmt really a difference. if the parents migrated "recently" or arenmt well adapted, then there might be a lot of cultural differences.

i work with teens, and i know a family from ghana. they have migrates some 20 years ago. they aren't very assimilated (only the dad speaks our language somewhat, they only keep to social circles of other people from ghana and so on), but their kids are almost no different from the native kids. the parents are stricter and less "open" with them. for example, the girl is 13 and she is not allowed to sleep over at female friends houses and she also won't be allowed to have a bf till she turns 18. and she doesn't muck up, she has a big respect for her parents and accepts those rules. on the other hand, she doesn't know a lot of things like how does puberty work. her parents just don't talk about "such things". so, a rather old fashioned approach.

I've known plenty of people who describe themselves as part of a particular religion who haven't even read the relevant holy book. In western terms it is often a matter of what school you went to, what your upbringing was like and if you get all confused about the differences between having faith and a notion of something spiritual and actually practising. Go find a dumbass who says they are 'really christian' who follows next to no aspects of christianity except 'I'm sure god will do nice things for me if I believe in them'.

Ask her out OP. I'd be very wary of (or seek to exploit) the stereotypical muslim girl trope of 'had a wild past, but eventually came to realise the value of family and god'. They want to get some teenage rebellion in as well before turning into a good wife except their definition of 'wild past' is often staying up late, talking to boys outside the family, listening to pop music etc instead of what pornhub might lead you to believe.

OP here, I think she's 22 so I'd imagine she would be mature enough to make her own decisions on what is right or wrong.

Second, you seem to think everyone of a certain race has some default hive mind behaviour. If she was white you wouldn't be asking such stupid questions.

You see color so color is a problem and will always be a problem for you.

Filipino. Grew up in a gated posh neighborhood and I'm the "black sheep" of the family. STEM graduate in university (Applied Mathematics) but bit of a party boy and traveler though.

if you live in a first world country and have liberal parents and sourroundings, then it's no problem.

But you really should not think about it, before making a move. Also, you don't know her, you should not waste your resources imagining something, that is probably not even real.

Family is conservative as fuck but half and half with my friends. They want me to settle down with a nice Filipina girl but I never found them interesting enough. White girls have been the most challenging to get with but I love the challenge too much.
