so, this is not my first time drinking. Although it has been a very long time since I've had any alcohol. Generally over the past few months I've been eating very healthy, and the only liquids I've been drinking have been water and milk. But this evening I drank just 1 can of beer. I felt no effect of it as it's just 1 can of beer. But right when I lay down in bed (3 hours after drinking it) my stomach/gastrointestinal tract is feeling very queasy and agitated. As if I'm going to be sick.
Why is this?

I was just thinking it was the beer. Could the hops or alcohol be irritating my intestinal lining because I haven't had any in probably 6 months?

I'm no gastrologist, but it could have upset the gut flora in your stomach. Since you've been so clean for these months, your gut is probably more sensitive and you feel disturbances more. Happens to people living healthy all the time.
Laying down may have jostled things and made you aware of what was going on.
I'm no doctor though, so I can't be certain of it

That sounds like it could make sense. I've eaten how I typically eat today, the only difference in today's diet was the beer.
I'm kind of pissed off because I'm tired and want to go to bed, but as soon as I lay down I feel nauseous

My stomatch hurts when i drink beer cuz of the gas in it, much more than in soda I feel like Im about to explode, I have to burp all the time or I'll vomit.
