Hey /adv/ why does cabbage make my depression better?

Seriously, I bought cabbage after somebody on some website had mentioned that cabbage helped with depression. It sat in my fridge for the past two weeks b/c I was too depressed to want to spend time cooking it. I decided today to actually cook it just to try, and IT IS AWESOME! I actually have been joking around with my family and having a good time instead of just feeling bummed.

Why does it work when other green plants like collard greens, mustard greens, and spinach did nothing. (I thought I had a vitamin deficiency of some sort)

Anybody else like cabbage?
You know, now that I think about it, I used to beg for more vegetables when I was feeling really depressed. I thought it was just that my brain needed the 'chemicals' to be 'balanced' or whatever bullshit my doctor told me.
I guess it must've been the cabbage, I remember eating a whole one once, it made me feel great. weird.

Yeah, it makes me feel amazing. I think it might be the main reason I love eating at panda express. Their chow mein has a decent amount of cabbage in it.
Huh, I love cabbage but I never noticed any difference. I'll take this in mind and see if there's a pattern I guess

I'm going to try to eat cabbage more often and see if there actually is anything more than placebo effect
