I'm meeting up with this girl I have a crush on tomorrow. I haven't spoke to her in about a year.
The thing is she has a boyfriend.
How do I let her know I want to keep in touch in a way that doesn't suggest I'm trying to steal her from him? (If she thinks that then she probably won't want to speek to me again!)
You don't, you just keep in touch naturally. Asking for it is cringeworthy and forceful.

I feel it won't happen naturally though, we'll meet up tomorrow for a bit at her volunteer work (I've used this as an excuse to go along with her) and I feel we will just go our separate ways at the end of the day, and won't speak again.

huh
>>18415699
... unless you speak to her.

Just randomly meeting up with her and then messaging her after a year of not speaking to her seems kind of fishy though right? Like it would seem more reasonable if I mentioned we should stay in touch or something? Idk man I just think I need to tread lightly.

what? you already messaged her / talked to her about volunteering iwth her right? or are you literally stalking her at this point?
regardless no it is not weird to
>see someone one day
>start messaging them after that
>>18415778
Yeah, I guess it's not weird. Thanks. I initially messaged her because she posted on Facebook about needing more volunteers and that's the only reason the conversation got started.

okay so
>she posted something
>you responded
>because of this you will meet tomorrow
>and think that it would be weird to continue talking to her after this without deliberately saying 'HEY WE ARE GOING TO TALK NOW'
hmmmm.

Why do you
>want to keep in touch
if you don't want to
> steal her from him
This doesn't make sense. Are you willfully planning on becoming her beta orbiter? There is hurt to be had.

he DOES want to steal her, he just wants to imply that he ISNT there to steal her so that OP can trick her into leaving her bf down the road.
