by trying on different glasses at the store, and seeing which ones look good on your face.
for best results bring a friend with you to help balance out your opinions. talk to the mirror for more than just ten seconds, tryt each pair on for like 5 minutes at a time and see what you feel comfortable with. dont worry about sales assistants being bugged by it, you have to wear these things on your fucking face all the fucking time, you deserve to actually spend sometime choosing whats going on your face

you look like the thinner the frames the better. my advice though is to invest in contact lenses as well. I have glasses that i wear to work and around the home, as it doesn't matter what i look like in those scenarios. but if i have guests over, or im going out, i tend to wear contacts.
everyone eventually sees you in your glasses but by the time they do they are already invested in you as a person so you dont have to worry about your glasses turning them off.
dont wear contacts 24/7 though. not only are they just uncomfortable but they will fuck up your eyes in 20 years
