Is German still a language worth learning?

Learning another language teaches you things about your own language. It also exercises your mind, and can be used in niche situations to impress people.
So yeah, it and any other language is worth learning, even if we're already living in a world where English will be the only language you'll ever need.

Then the only added benefit you'll get from another language is being able to read their untranslated works, and watch their untranslated television without distracting subtitles, and being able to communicate with the people in that country who only have broken English.
German is especially good for the early twentieth century philosophy that exists only clumsily translated to English. Ask yourself: will you use it? If so, go nuts. If not, look for a language you'll use more often.

I was wondering about German because I wasn't sure if I should learn German or just learn Arabic to be able to understand the new Germans.

Spanish is a strong candidate. Mandarin is as well, although you definitely need to engage a tutor for that one if you want to learn it with any proficiency.

If your other language is a Romance language, then try learning something from a different school of languages. If it's Germanic, learn a Romance language.
Or if you desire a slow death, try and learn Finnish.
