My younger dog is almost 2 and ive had her less than a year. Shes an asshole and still shits in the floor and destroys my shit once in awhile.

And yet i love her more than my gf even.

To deal I make small talk with people I encounter everyday, I have two cats, and I watch porn with stories that are more romantic. I also talk to my mom and brother when I'm feeling a bit lonely.

I have also made some mental changes, I've accepted that I'll probably be alone in life and that's okay. I focus on my career and doing things I enjoy.
