I still think about her sometimes.

Psychologist here.
Anon, you're a drug addict. The stuff your brain produces when you're together in a relationship is really a natural high. You're currently experiencing withdrawal. It is going to hurt for a while, there is nothing you can do about this.
But you can take your focus away from it. By setting very specific goals and achieving them. The best would be to set goals for your diet and work out, because this will be a 24/7 endevour. Keeping you well distracted.
Once this starts working, you can set yourself a goal with people. Talk to people, join a club, be social. When you got this covered you're back on the horse and ready to start looking for partners again.
However, you could also try doing something experimental. You've experienced first hand that girls can hurt, emotionally, and this is just as painful as being hurt physically, it takes its toll on you. Have you ever dated guys? I'm not talking about people with beard and musk, it could be a cute innocent emo boy who would take very good care of you. We have equality now, so guys work full jobs and do everything else a girl does for you on top of that. Having such a bf for someone who has been dating girls for all his life could really feel as a luxury. Think about it, it would be so much easier.
