If i had to choose between missing memeber of my family or finding them suicided, i choose finding the dead body.

In this way i will at least know what happened and get my closure. Sure it will bring me pain and sadness, but in time i will close the chapter about them and move on.

If you will go missing, they will be scared about you for months to come. Maybe they will waste resources to look for you. And even after years to come, they will get sad on christmas and birthdays and other events, thinking about where you are.
