Do that. Discover. Trust me. You won't find love at 16. You'll find passion and emotion and sex. You've got to navigate it. Start to understand the emotions and thoughts you are feeling.

Forget about this girl. She's playing you. Put your heart on your sleeve and tell her how you feel. If she doesn't want that then man tha tsucks but it's not the end of the world.

You'll be ok and by being a man and letting her know how you feel thats all you can do.

This isn't end all be all. Don't look for someone to settle with at your age. Look for someone who can teach you something. Maybe not directly but be aware of your situation and TRULEY try to understand your own thoughts and feelings when you get into a relatjionship.

This is your time to start making some values and solidifying your life. Don't trap yourself with just one girl, one job. Give yourself choices and options.

ALso try to empathize with her. She's a young girl. You're a young man. Hormones are raging through your body and you're both discovering shit that is scary as hell. SHe's got the same problems as you for the most part.

Try to meet in the middle and understand where she is coming from too.

Best advice I can give is to be Open and expect anything and TRY to learn from the outcome. Reflect on what you've learned from putting your heart on the line. And if it burns you just say... Fuck that hurt but I can do better. I won't let this defeat me.
