My (now) ex and I split up about three weeks ago. We hadn't talked since until last night. Nothing special. "How have you been?" "I've missed you." "Hope you are doing ok."
She's just texted me clearly suggesting that I should hit her up if I ever want to sleep together.
I have no interest whatsoever. I like her, I care about her, but I've moved on and neither want to start up the relationship again nor do I want to turn someone who was special to me into just some chick I bang.
How do I let her down easy? Knowing her, it was a big step to put herself out there like that and I'd rather not hurt her feelings by flat out telling her "Thanks, but not interested."

Tbh I'd screenshot what you wrote and send it to her.

Why did you split up? Was it mutual, or one-sided? You still seem to care about her well-being so I assume it was somewhat mutual.

It was mutual. Long story short, she's a recovering alcoholic, had been sober 6 months when we started seeing each other, but relapsed a few weeks into the start of things. The relationship took a huge hit as a result we both agreed she needed to be focusing entirely on getting sober and that it wasn't a good time for a relationship.

Tell her I have no interest whatsoever. I like her, I care about her, but I've moved on and neither want to start up the relationship again nor do I want to turn someone who was special to me into just some chick I bang.
