This way of life works for me, I share a kind of kinship with OP, and thus I share my coping mechanism with OP.

It's a natural feeling to have. It's called temptation. When it's stronger than the desire for your girlfriend and catching yourself noticing her flaws, you know she ain't the one for you.

You will struggle to believe this is true, but it's your inner thoughts talking to you. Move on. I learned the hard way and did more damage in the long run.
