So, I've been having a terrible time sleeping lately.
Almost everyday now I'll wake up at about 2 or 3 thinking I'm dying, or having some sort of panic attack.
Sometimes when I wake up I can't even move, and my whole body feels tense/rigid for like a few seconds.
Anyone have anything similar happen to them, or know what I should do?
Thinking of seeing a doctor soon for this.

Can't give advice on this but i can tell you what it's like for someone else who also randomly wakes up in the night and doesn't sleep enough.
I usually wake up because i am stressing out over something that comes up and then i realize my dream just amplified that problem and it's not that urgent, my body then feels heavy and i barely feel like i have the strength to move for a few seconds even if i want to and am aware of it.
I've had problems with the neck from stressing out before and at that time i really couldn't move because my muscles would be too tense and if even moved a little it would hurt like hell.
Definitely would go to a doctor because you are tense, that shit can get worse.
Give us some context. Did something recently happen? Do you have some weekly routine?
Sounds like sleep paralysis anon

Are you under some major stress at the moment?
I used to get sleep paralysis pretty often when I was working my shitty job, then again when I had housing issues. In that case, then a doctor might just try and help you through your stress issues. Antidepressants are also a treatment for most sleep problems, but I don't think they're the best port of call because of tolerance problems

I usually take a melatonin supplement at around 7:00pm (as I can't sleep without one), and go to bed at around 8 or 9.
Nothing big's happen recently to cause any sort of stress, the only thing I can think of that'd give me any sort of stress would be that I'm moving out of my parent's house in like a month.
I guess I do have a weekly routine, since I'm a neet right now.
>Get up at 6
>Eat breakfast, and go for a walk until like 8
>Play vidya or draw until 1
>Another walk
>Dinner at 5
>Take supplement at 7
>Go to bed at 8

Only thing stressful I can think of is I'm moving out of my parents in a month to go to college.
