Don't shave again. Whenever I shave my junk, I have to let it grow out to a certain length before shaving again or I'll get bad razor burn, even if I use shave gel/lotion. Just let it grow out or you'll be in even worse shape come the day of the festival

Not OP here but also just shaved for the first time.

In contrast to OP, I shaved because my genitals were so itchy, esp. at night. I thought I got crabs. Shaved, then used anti-lice soap. Hasn't been itchy.

You dont need to the soap if you shave it bare.
You can see crabs with the naked eye so you should have checked your pubes.

You are misunderstanding what I meant by shave bare.
Bare as in you no longer have any hair on your junk.
If you leave a portion with hair then you need to soap also but if its all skin then you can just shower regularly because they grip onto hair.
