Starting this off with a dumb question:

To males:
How would you feel if the person you texted used emojis in all of their texts? Would you think they were flirting, retarded, expressive, etc.? How do you feel on yourself using emojis?

I'm asking because I tend to use an excessive amount of emojis to express my emotions in texts (to lighten up conversations and not seem as serious mostly) but I read online that it could be seen as an act of flirting. The person that I'm currently texting also does not use them at all, which would definitely make me seem like I am flirting with him. I also have a few other males friends that don't use emojis at all, and if they do it's very rare.

And the most recent was a girl who just arrived from Venezuela a few months ago, doesn't speak English, but worked hard at the factory I work for. I admired her so much, you have no idea. But she left her bf back in Venezuela and they wanted to reunite so I was forced to lose hope. Even though we were both really cool with each other. We're both mostly introverted so yeah.
